Jag har fått höra sen jag kom hit om Daves busiga julklappar och hur jag ska få något speciellt. 
Han berättade att han ett år hade gett Benita jättestora trosor fyllda med hennes favorit kakor och på brevet som han alltid skriver till julklappen hade han skrivit 'by the time you've eaten these the underwear should fit you'. Så jag var lite nervös över vad jag skulle få. 

Tracy (matts fru) fick en bellybutton duster så att hon kunde dansa magdans och komma i form så att hon kunde äta ricekrispybars som hon också fick. 

Terry (Saras man) fick brownies för att han är brown nosed vilket betyder att man smörar för Dave tycker att han gör det för Lois när han frågar om han kan hjälpa till. 

Han gör allt på skämt så det är väldigt roligt när han har sin paketutdelning. 


Jag fick två saker en från Charlie (katten) och en från Dave. 

Jag ska börja med att berätta om Charlies, det är kex och sardiner och i brevet står det:

Hey! Hey! good looking what you got cooking. How about cooking something up with me.
You know what, we have one thing in common. We both have green eyes, and yours are almost as pretty as mine. 
Pa pa (Dave) is really good to me, and when I told him I wanted a gift for you he did it. This treat he got is top shelf which is the best. In fact he told me the clerk had to get the ladder to get it down. My hope is you'll let me sit on your lap and we can share it together. Pa pa really chose a trophy when he had you come to spend this year with us.
Grandma doesn't like me very much. She prefers that stupid bird Tucker. Some day I'll fix that Tucker good. I think she likes the bird better because he whistles at her, and talks as much as she does.

Sen Från Dave fick jag som ni ser en träskulptur av mig själv som springer som han har gjort själv, han är ju för rolig. 
I brevet stog det:

You flew into our lives on aug 9, 2011 and little did we know that we chose a real gem. You fit right into the family and stole Zach's heart in the first 5 minutes. You've excelled in academics, sports and have a lot of new friends in the short amount of time you've been here. You are the perfect exchange student.
We hope you display your gift proudly. The Nelsons are proud of you and very glad to have you as a part of the family.
